For this Friday Freebie we return to 2023 on the back of an asteroid! It was released, almost to the day, three years ago, by Ripple Music and landed on Number 4 of the April 2023 Doom Charts. And rightfully so! For Return Of The Asteroid is one hell of an amazing album! We’re talking about Norway’s finest: WOLFNAUT! A fuzz-drenched transmission from somewhere between desert highways and heavy metal space orbit. Stoner roots still kicking up dust, but now strapped in for a louder, meaner engine! Roaring with cosmic groove and vintage metal bravado! Riffs burn hot! Vocals soar with theatrical bite and the whole thing barrels down the highway like it’s running from an asteroid! What a ride! Messy, loud, and beautifully excessive! This is the kind of ride you, me and WOLFNAUT were built for!
