Or as Frazer Jones stated on the Doom Charts back in September: “Filthy evil sounding fuzz and devastating distortion twinned with thunderous drumming and vocals buried so far back in the mix they are barely audible might sound like a bit of a nightmare and, in truth, it is, but this is a nightmare you will not want to wake up from. WITCHSNAKE‘s music is like a drug, it leaves you feeling dirty and debased yet desperate for another fix, a soundtrack for depravity and perversity that, if we didn’t know better, sounds like it could have been recorded in the fiery bowels of Hell with the Devil himself sitting at the mixing desk.”
