Acid Mammoth was formed in 2015 by Chris Babalis Jr. and Dimosthenis Varikos, two friends with a deep love for heavy music. They were later joined by their very good friend Marios Louvaris and Chris Babalis Sr., Jr’s father. In 2017, the band self-released its debut full-length album. In January 2020 the band released their second full-length album “Under Acid Hoof” via Heavy Psych Sounds Records.
“On January 24th, 2 years ago, our sophomore album “Under Acid Hoof” was released by HEAVY PSYCH SOUNDS!!! We can’t thank you all enough for all the love you’ve shown to this record!!!Since its initial release, the album has been repressed on 3 different occasions by HPS on multiple rad vinyl editions. What’s also quite surreal for us is that it has reached 1.3M views on YouTube, on 666MrDoom’s Channel!We would like to thank our record label, HEAVY PSYCH SOUNDS, for releasing the album and treating it with so much love, and Branca Studio for the stunningly killer artwork!
