Can’t fathom why it did not chart… Cause TUNGUSKA MAMMOTH don’t just play stoner doom, they drag you through it, dust in your lungs, windows down and amps cranked to eleven. Cactus is four tracks. 23 Minutes of heavy grooves, grizzled vocals and riffs that his like a desert storm. Running Man roars to life with a killer keyboard twist, La Fuite tears through tempo shifts like a whiskey-fueled highway chase, and the French-tinged closer, Le Voyage de la Chasse-Galerie, hits like a dervish on fire, whirling and frenzied! Did we already mention frenzied? Cactus is spiky, short, raw, relentless… It tastes of grit, road and molten metal! This is the kind of rock that you don’t just listen to… You feel it in your blood!
