Released in 2020, the Mephistophelean doom trio unveiled their debut through Made of Stone Recordings. Music that seems conjured rather than composed. Colossal riffs grind like shifting tomb doors, drums thunder with ritualistic intent and the vocals snarl like prophecies torn from forbidden scripture. Drawn from proto-doom’s ancient bones, while slowly bleeding with more blackened malice, the tracks surge between Sabbathan swagger and almost suffocating, occult dread. Guitars wail, grooves stagger, lurch and then strike, every not reeks of sulphur and shadows. REVENANT stands tall, at the crossroads of past and present doom, a dark sermon for the damned…
