Their own words: “Starting out as a clean-cut stoner-band, Mexicoma have evolved during the years and through some member changes and earlier releases grown to find their true sound. With a more free-thinking approach, the sound has been injected with a broader spectrum and genres although sticking to the stoner idea in its foundation.
Mexicoma’s new album ‘Kalpa’ will be the first release since 2014 (Obsidian Monolith) for the desert toned, riff based, heavy stoner rockers from Umea! This time with the new singer Aron Andersson who’s replacing Magnus Olsson behind the mic. The vocals might be changed, but the riffs and singwriting is as stellar as you’re used too!“
