Brimming with a delicious concoction of Heaviness and Atmospherics, “Creatures” shows a band at the zenith of their powers and gives the listener a really satisfting experience.”
Frazer Jones added: “Delicious hazy psych from the land down under that can get heavy on occasions but balances that heaviness out with passages of languid fluidity.”
Their own words: “Khan meld hazy psychedelia and heavy stoner riffs with a penchant for progressive rhythms and almost dirge-like, industrial- scale crescendos. The songs are lyrically evocative, exuding a sense of despondency and melancholy. Vocally, their songs waver from ethereal falsetto and hypnotic crooning to impassioned wailing punctuated by occasional guttural screams.”
