Wasted Theory – Warlords of the New Electric

Hot off their recent showing in the October Doom Charts coming in at #14, Wasted Theory have generated a bunch of codes for all of you to fight over. Of course support them by buying multiple copies of the vinyl and going to all of their shows across the land as well. Congrats to the guys on their placement on the charts. Will they make it on next month? We shall find out.

Wasted Theory have been around since 2012 and recently released their 3rd full length album on the heels of their split LP recently featured on Ripple Music’s Chapter 9 of The Second Coming of Heavy split series with Cortez. If you’re new to the band great, you’re in for a treat. For those longtime veterans, you know what we’re talking about. Wasted Theory play a lean and mean “American Weed Rock” as they call it. Others have coined them as playing unique forms of:

“Sweaty Yam Bag Rock”

“Electric Butt Crust Metal”

“Franks in yo Spaghetti-o Metal”

“Leftover Keg for Breakfast Metal”

“Beard Dandruff Beandip Hash Metal”

The list goes on and you get the picture. If that doesn’t sound appetizing I don’t know what does. Either way, there are 100 codes given away as well as waning supplies of vinyl records available from the label Argonauta Records. Also be sure to scoop up a copy of the split with Cortez from Ripple Music.

The musical equivalent of big hairy balls, dirty beards, cheap beer, and smoke stained denim. The Bottom end fuzz cranks out back alley riffs and dope smoking groove like a stoner metal version of Motörhead.
