DIXIE GOAT – ORDER, CHAOS, LIFE AND DEATH
The doom rolls on, and another South American titan is here to carry the torch. DIXIE GOAT released Order, Chaos, Life and Death in December 2023, and the album is chock-full of righteously gritty, thick slabs of stoner and doom metal. Dig it.

“We are happy to present the third studio album from Santiago Hard-Rockers DIXIE GOAT. It was released on December 1st. On “Order, Chaos, Life and Death”, the power-trio immerse themselves through these difficult times. Disease, depression, war, suicide, anxiety, panic. “Order, Chaos, Life and Death” is a record that will moreover delight fans of BLACK SABBATH, TROUBLE, SOUNDGARDEN, ALICE IN CHAINS.
The album was recorded and mixed by NES (WILD PARADE) at BYM Records, Mastered by Jack Endino and produced by DIXIE GOAT. Album artwork by Chilean artist José “KAT” Canales.
The band recently signed a contract with Olde Magick Records (USA) for Vinyl and Tape versión of the album. As well signed with Smolder Brains Records (MEX) for the CD version of the album. All the versions are already available.

Frazer Jones (Desert Psychlist): DIXIE GOAT have become somewhat the poster boys of the Chilean underground scene and rightly so, they are a band whose music is of a quality equal to that of any of their Northern Hemisphere counterparts. “Order, Chaos, Life and Death” is testament to why that is so, it is an amalgamation of hard rock, metal and doom that may have its origins in South America but is global in its appeal.

DIXIE GOAT was born in Santiago, Chile in 2012, founded by guitarist/singer Nikk Beer. The power trio describes their music as a doomy hard rock with Stoner vibes. Since July 2013, the band has shared the stage with MONDO GENERATOR (USA), ANCESTRO (Perú), MONTAÑA ELÉCTRICA (Argentina) and including some greats from the local scene, such as YAJAIRA, HIELO NEGRO, TABERNARIOS, ICARUS GASOLINE and DEVIL PRESLEY, as well as others on the rise such as EL GRAN TREMOR, ARTEAGA, DE PIEDRA, DEMONAUTA, WILD PARADE, NUEVE CÍRCULOS, DIESSEL, DER GOLEM, ABISAL, ARTILLERÍA, to name but a few.
